I have never played netball before, can I join?
Yes, we have players of all standards of ability.
Are boys allowed to join?
We are able to offer training to boys under 12 unfortunately there is no governing body for netball above that age.
I turn 13 within the academic year, how will I know if I should attend the U13 or U15 session?
The age groups splits are determined by your birthday, if you come along to a session we will advice you whether you are in the correct session according to your birthday. Don't worry if you are in a different session to your friends we are flexible and will take this into consideration.
Will I get to play matches?
G84 for the 09-10 sessions have an U13 Squad in the Scottish Cup. The other age groups will have arranged friendly matches with other clubs.
Do I have to pay for my netball kit?
No, G84 have netball dresses and bibs and will distribute these at matches. The dresses belong to the club and will be returned after the matches.
How will the sessions be structured?
The sessions will have a physical warm-up, ball skills and a modified game. All of the will be followed by a cool-down.
How much does it cost to join to club?
Players are expected to pay a club membership once a year. The U11 membership is �10, U13 membership is �15 and the U15-U17 membership is �20. Affiliation for each individual player to Netball Scotland is included in this fee.
Is there a cost per session?
Yes, the cost for the U11 and U13 players is �1.50 and the U15 and U17 players pay �2 per session.
